haha. just as i thought that was it, the sec 2s from NCWO gave us 2 presents each! sharks, i was just joking when i said they "bo sim". never joke with your students about this kinda things…

anyway, the first present was relatively easy to guess. and relatively easy to unwrap too. a lovely rubber wristband-watch with a keyboard imprinted on it! and the letters ‘D L’ printed beside the keyboard. i wonder what ‘D L’ stands for!

the second one… after going through layers and layers of wrapping consisting of the proper wrapping paper and 12 layers of newspapers, i finally got to it! a gorgeous piece of work it is, having the words on the frame, "Teachers plant the seeds that grow forever". to top it all up, a really personalised message beautifully arranged, printed out and placed nicely in the frame. it reads:

亲爱的 Mr Ian Lum, 我们 know we are the NAUGHTY first batch you taught. HAHAS!
BUT we know u enjoyed teaching us 很多很多. HAHAS!!!
我们也 enjoy the funny and amusing times we had.
although is your 1st time teaching us. BUT 我们知道 we have been V. GOOD STUDENTS! XP
We will strive hard and will not 孤负你的期望的!!!!! We wish U 全部的棒 in ur future teaching.

isn’t that lovely? yeah, i love NCWO! thank you, sec 2s, and thank you, band! i’m sure that i have learnt a lot from you, and hopefully you have learnt a lot from me as well
