waste of time and money
wasted trip, wasted time, wasted money. the lesson today was totally unproductive. did a bit of the finzi pieces, but no real progress made. didn’t practise enough mozart so doing mozart would be a waste of time anyway. having mild flu and it affected my playing a lot. couldn’t concentrate properly too. i think i just wasted 2 hours at my teacher’s place. i don’t call that learning, since i couldn’t even absorb anything in the first place.
recording for kah chun was equally unproductive, since i had trouble sightreading stuff and i also had problems with my contact lenses. i was virtually falling asleep the whole time! and i was constantly hungry. $24 left till tuesday. hopefully it lasts till later than that.
anyway, it’s been a day of bad playing and bad concentration. i should get some good rest. tmr will be another practice day.
